Yarn Spinning & Story Weaving Workshop

This fun and interactive workshop teaches students, teachers, librarians and parents how to create and tell stories in a way that will have your audiences so entertained and spellbound that they might even learn a thing or two. One-Hour Workshop:

Karen Young uses her story recipe, crazy props and time-tested writing exercises to fire up the students and get them writing. Stir in her Story Starters and creative methods of character development and watch the students cook up a story.

Residency:

This 5-week residency (each session is 45 minutes) allows the participants to fully develop their story. Each session shows how to add depth to their characters, setting and plot. By the end of the residency, voila! A rich, sense filled story and a confident writer!
